The desk's
calmest seat.
A real product tour. Below is what your shift looks like with MediSero+ Front Desk — not a feature list, but the actual flow, screen by screen, from open to close.
From the first walk-in
to closing the shift.
Here's what a typical shift looks like with MediSero+ Front Desk. Five real moments, five real flows. No demo screenshots — these are the actual screens.
Open the desk. The queue is ready.
Sign in. Today's bookings are loaded, walk-in registration is one tap away, and the doctors already see your queue. Clio surfaces the morning's priorities — long waits, pending Rx pickups, stock that's running low.
Live queue board — shared in real time with every doctor's app. Today at a glance — waiting count, booked count, dispense queue. Clio nudges — three things worth knowing before the rush starts.
A walk-in to a token, in 20 seconds.
Search by name, phone, or MediSero ID. New patient? Register on the spot — name + phone is all you need. Pick the doctor, pick the visit type, tap Check In. A token prints, the doctor sees them in the queue, and the patient gets a push notification.
Search-first registration — phone or name, fuzzy-match across the workspace. Token printer + push — paper for the patient, push for the doctor's app. En-route ETA — patients can self-check in via the app and surface "2 min out".
Working with doctors? They have their own app.
The doctors at your clinic don't share your screen — they use MediSero+ for Doctors, a surface tuned for consultations: voice notes, smart prescriptions, patient timeline, drug research. Same workspace, role-aware permissions, real-time sync.
Last clinic, check-in was a clipboard and a lot of guessing. Now it's twenty seconds and the doctor already sees them.
Phone rings. Book without putting them on hold.
Search the patient mid-call, see the doctor's available slots, confirm with a tap, and SMS the booking before you hang up. No hunting through paper diaries, no double-bookings, no "let me call you back."
Patient lookup mid-call — caller ID matches the directory automatically. Calendar conflict-free — booked slots greyed out, you cannot double-book. SMS confirmation — auto-sent on booking, with a reschedule link.
I used to dread the phone. Now I confirm the booking before they finish telling me their name.
Pay, pick up, all on one screen.
Patient comes to the desk with their MediSero EP code (app, SMS, or paper). One screen handles the consult fee, the dispensed medicines, GST, payment method, and inventory decrement. Combined invoice, audit-logged, sharable on WhatsApp or printed to a thermal printer.
EP-code dispense — scan to verify, tick what you're handing over. Combined invoice — consult + Rx + labs in one line-item document. Inventory live — stock decrements automatically; low-stock flagged red. Multiple payment methods — cash, card, UPI, wallet, partial.
Inventory used to mean closing the shop on Sundays. Now it just reconciles itself at 5:30.
Close the shift. Hand over cleanly.
One tap closes your shift. Inventory reconciles automatically, invoices are filed, the doctor gets a daily-totals snapshot, and tomorrow's prep is queued. If a colleague takes the next shift, they pick up exactly where you left off.
Shift handoff — pending Rx pickups, partial fills, and unpaid invoices flow to the next FD. Daily totals to doctor — patients seen, revenue, dispense count, no-shows. Audit log archived — every action timestamped + attributed for the day.
What changes with MediSero+ Front Desk.
Estimates based on our internal modelling and pilot feedback. Real-world numbers will vary clinic-to-clinic.
In my old clinic I used three different things — a register, an Excel sheet, and a WhatsApp group with the doctors. Now it's all in one screen, and the doctors see what I see in real time. I haven't lost a patient or a prescription in six months.
Frequently asked about Front Desk
Is Front Desk a separate app or part of MediSero+?
It's part of the same platform — one clinic workspace, shared patient list, shared pharmacy inventory — but a dedicated surface tuned for receptionists. Doctors use their own app; FD uses this one. Data is always in sync.
How do I link to a doctor's clinic?
On signup, the doctor admin shares a 6-character clinic join code (e.g. K8N2XQ). Paste it on the FD onboarding screen → the admin approves → you're in. Works for multi-clinic FDs too.
What permissions can the doctor control?
Everything. Per-FD: can view revenue, can refund, can invite staff, can edit clinic settings, can dispense, and more. Admin toggles any of them from Settings → Staff & Assistants.
How does no-show handling work?
Patients who don't arrive within 2 hours of their slot are auto-marked No-Show. FD can mark manually too. Revert-from-no-show works when the patient walks in late — their status flips back to waiting without losing queue position.
What happens if I skip a patient by mistake?
A 60-second Undo toast appears after every Skip, Mark No-Show, or Dispense. You can revert without calling the doctor or re-queueing the patient.
Can I handle both walk-ins and appointments?
Yes. MediSero+ runs both flows on the same queue view. Walk-ins get tokens in arrival order; appointments auto-insert at their scheduled slot; en-route patients bubble up when they're physically close.
